A Long-Awaited Traffic Shift
Roundabouts are a familiar sight on public roads in Florida, but until now they had not appeared anywhere inside the Walt Disney World resort. The Floridian Way project brings the state's signature intersection style onto Disney-owned property, where it is expected to ease congestion from buses, passenger vehicles, and cast members travelling between parking areas, resort hotels, and behind-the-scenes facilities.
How the New Layout Works
The lane shift reshaped the roadway so that traffic merges into circular patterns rather than stopping at signalised crossroads.
